Nick joined Power to Change in November 2020. He works across a range of policy and public affairs projects for the organisation – helping to make the case for community businesses and the policy change needed to support them.

He is passionate about articulating the role of community-led activity in tackling some of our biggest social, economic, and environmental challenges, and pushing government to look for solutions through a localist lens. Nick has worked in parliament, for a think tank and in public affairs and policy roles in the voluntary and community sector. Most recently, he worked at Locality – the national membership network for community organisations, where he helped to establish the Keep it Local Network.

In his spare time, he plays football and squash and is always looking for his next cycling or snowboarding adventure. He’s been on cycle tours in India and Spain and spent time in the mountains in Siberia and Japan.
