Fergus joined Power to Change in September 2015 initially as Programme Manager, developing our strategic programmes, then moving into a market development role with a focus on infrastructure and curating of portfolio of strategic partners.
He is now the Digital Innovation Manager and is responsible for supporting community businesses to strengthen their digital capabilities to adapt to, and thrive in, the new normal.
Fergus has 18 years’ experience enthusing and enabling diverse organisations and communities to exceed their potential. He started his career leading a rural charity, Teesdale Village Halls Consortium, a collaboration of 32 village halls and their associated communities. He then spent seven years in a regional manager role in the southwest of England for Carers Trust, a UK-wide charity supporting unpaid carers.
