The Foundation for Social Investment commissioned researchers at the Centre for Enterprise and Economic Development Research at the University of Middlesex to look at the three commissioning organisations’ own performance in currently meeting the needs of minoritised ethnic communities, and review what is already known about those needs from existing research.

The report is based on a literature review and analysis of data from a selection of the three organisation’s programmes. It highlights where improvements need to be made across the support and funding sector in terms of data quality and standardisation and mitigating barriers to supporting social and community enterprises which are led by and supporting people from minoritised ethnicities.
