Energy Resilience Fund

Finance to enable community businesses to retrofit energy generating or saving technology on community-owned or managed buildings, with an initial focus on stabilising or reducing energy costs.

Helping you stabilise or reduce your energy costs

The Energy Resilience Fund is an initiative assisting community businesses in retrofitting their buildings with energy-saving measures.

The programme is funded by Power to Change and delivered by Key Fund.

What’s on offer?

Investment from £10,000 to £150,000

 

Interest rate of 6.5% flat

 

 

Minimum term of 12 months, maximum term of 7 years

 

Who can apply?

Community businesses in England owning a building or with a significant lease (12+ years) and who have been declined by a bank.

 

What can you apply for?

    • Investment amounts from £10,000 to £150,000.

    • Up to 40% of total available as grant, where justifiable to support cost stabilisation or reduction.

    • Energy Audit Grants available between £500 and £2,500 where these have not been completed.

    • Minimum term of 12 months, maximum term of 7 years.

    • Interest Rate – 6.5% flat.

    • Arrangement Fee – 1%.

    • Security – mainly unsecured.
