This year, Power to Change has secured a community business float at Pride in London 2018! Now we need your help to showcase the amazing work community businesses are doing across the country and how they promote equality and diversity in local areas, in LGBTQI groups and beyond.
If you think you have what it takes to design a community business float, we’d love to hear from you. The Pride in London parade takes place on 7 July 2018 and the theme for the community business float is ‘Pride in your community’. We’ll work collaboratively with the community business submitting the winning idea to build a brilliant float that will parade in front of over one million people in central London. Winners will get to see their float come to life and march along the float in the parade.
We’re also looking for performers for our float. If you’re a community-run arts organisation or performance group, you could secure up to ten wristbands to march with us and show your pride in your community! We’re seeking as diverse a representation of LGBTQI individuals as possible to be sure the float celebrates all the colours of the rainbow.
