3. If a complaint is being taken further, the matter will be investigated and a formal response to the complaint will usually be provided within four weeks of receipt of the complaint.<\/p>\n
4. If for any reason your complaint cannot be responded to within four weeks, you will be contacted in writing and informed of the reason for delay.<\/p>\n
5. If you are dissatisfied with the response to the complaint, you may refer your complaint to the Chairman of the Power to Change Trust within two months of receiving the formal response.<\/p>\n

We distribute our funding through open and targeted programmes, to help new community businesses start up and existing ones to be more resilient. Power to Change also runs a community business Research Institute.\u00a0 The Research Institute seeks to support the charity\u2019s charitable purposes and vision of \u2018better places created through community businesses by commissioning high-quality research, promoting rigorous analysis and stimulating critical scrutiny and debate. In doing so we aim to shape both policy and practice. To enable Power to Change to distribute and manage grants, we need to market our programmes and projects to new potential applicants (prospects), make existing applicants aware of new programmes and projects, and report both to the funders and the public as to the success of the charity and its successful applicants.\r\n\r\nPower to Change may also identify potential applicants who are in job roles that are likely to require its programmes and projects and communicate this to them, either by phone, email or post.
