Sarah’s role involves working closely with the Procurement Manager to ensure the Trust adheres to its obligations and policies in respect of procurement of grants services, GDPR and internal audits.
Sarah supports colleagues across the whole organisation with the procurement of services, ensuring appropriate procurement and due diligence is carried out. She co-ordinates the procurement of services and supports colleagues on the whole spectrum of procurement, from identification of service needs to awarding contracts, including providing advice, support and guidance on matters relating to procurement, performance of service providers, compliance and due diligence. Her work involves liaising with colleagues, lawyers, procurement professionals and suppliers. She is also responsible for maintaining the Procurement Manual and toolkit for colleagues to use and the Contracts Register to ensure compliance and maintain accurate records.
Having previously worked in local government, Sarah joined Power to Change in September 2018. She really enjoys both her role and working for this organisation: knowing that she is helping to make the world a better place motivates her. She loves looking at innovative ways of working and improving efficiency and effectiveness.
In her personal life, Sarah enjoys walking her three dogs – Ruby, Patch and Duke – gardening and travelling.
