Eva Trier is a highly effective consultant and strategy professional with 20 years of consultancy experience in the UK and Europe. Eva’s work focuses on economic development, community regeneration, the social economy and the role of innovation within this. Eva is Director of Eva Trier Consulting Ltd., a strategy consultancy which she set up in April 2016 following many years of working for a niche strategy consultancy.
Eva has worked for clients in the public, private and third sector and has in-depth knowledge of strategy, project and programme development at one end of the policy cycle and strategic review, evaluation and impact assessment at the other end. Eva has been extensively involved in third sector policy development and implementation and has a robust understanding of the dynamics and challenges involved in developing new models to deliver on individual and community wellbeing. Eva has used diverse methodologies in supporting strategic third sector initiatives ranging from futures methodologies, vision and strategy support, scoping, feasibility and options development, strategic reviews and Value for Money reviews to numerous evaluations and impact assessments in different settings and thematic areas.
Eva has first-hand experience of the management and operations of third sector organisations from current and previous roles as Director/ Trustee of several social enterprises including Cycle Training Wales, Groundwork Wales and RCMA – Riverside Market/Market Garden. As a former school governor, she also understands the role of schools in nurturing and enabling community development and learning for all.
